Purpose
Matthew 13:52 Then said He unto them, Therefore every scribe which is instructed unto the Kingdom of Heaven is like unto a man that is an householder, which bringeth forth out of his treasure things new and old.
Is the Lord awakening you in the night season to write? Did you suddenly start writing prophetically one day without warning or explanation? Is your entire ministry rooted in writing revelation through song, poetry, spoken word, plays, devotions, inspiration, books of instruction and administration and/or other creative works? If so, the 2009 Christian Prophetic Poet's & Writer's Retreat: The Birthing of a Scribal Nation is your secret place of habitation, revelation and understanding in this season. Join us, and discover why the Lord has called your soul from Heaven to earth to write during such a time as this. During this retreat, scribes will focus on "writing as ministry" as they learn who they are in Christ, get supernaturally aligned with the Father's growing army of sons whose weapons are their pens, keyboards and the unique sounds pouring from their renewed hearts; and break forth into another level of scribal ministry.
The 2009 Christian Prophetic Poet's & Writer's Retreat is a sanctuary for the peculiar Christian writers - a place of refuge, safety and security. It is a place where one's individuality, creativity and passion in and for Christ Jesus is accepted, embraced and encouraged through the uninhibited and immeasurable love of the Father. It is a place where the person of God is real and not afar off but obtainable and present - without the lurking of entertainment, comparison, compromise and competition hanging in the midst. This retreat encourages the quest for knowledge of the Father's will for His scribes through seeking a greater revelation and understanding of our present identity in Him. Prophetess Theresa Harvard Johnson is the founder of Voices of Christ Literary Ministries International where she has mentored many writers since 2001. She is a former award winning journalist who now serves as a Scribe to the King, and has authored The Scribal Anointing®, The Scribal Companion, Spiritually Critiquing, Scribal Purpose, and the soon to be released books, Literary Evangelism, and Scribal Warfare - all Holy Spirit inspired curriculums to equip and release the Lord's rising army of prophetic scribes. Her desire is to see the Matthew 13:52 ministry of the scribe restored in its fullness to the Church and for prophetic writers to walk fully in their purpose and destiny in Jesus Christ.
Apostle John A. Davis Sr. is the founder of Harvest International Network (HIN), a ministerial fellowship committed to mentoring and training pastors and leaders under the apostolic mantle of the Father's heart. His desire is to see the next generation of leaders walk in wisdom, love and pure ministry under the power of God. He is often referred to as an Apostle of Prayer who urges intimacy with the Holy Spirit.
Apostle Stanley E. Pina is a Christian leadership coach of superb caliber. He helps leaders grow by asking questions from the well and wealth of wisdom, insight, and understanding God has given him. He empowers leaders to become champions and special agents who pursue God's calling as an elite unstoppable force that forges ahead with strategic and apostolic perception. The Lord uses Stanley to accomplish this in many ways; one of which is pastoring the emerging leaders of THE HOUSE OF PRAYER - AN ARMED DIAMEN. Stanley is a humble, yet powerful leader in his home. He, valiantly leads and loves his wife Karen Pina, a leadership coach and author, and is a shining example of true fathering to two beautiful girls.
International coach trainer, author, and minister, Prophetess Karen M. Pina, has been creatively writing for over 15 years. She is author of the well-received Leadership FITness - Experiencing Fullness in The Temple and Is it the job, the boss, you . . . or are you an entrepreneur? She is the creator of the One-Stop Marketing Program, and founder of Gifts Ordained by Direction and GOD's Coach U, a training and coaching practice. She is the virtuous wife of Stanley Pina, a leadership coach and pastor. They live in Connecticut where they raise two beautiful daughters.
